Your questions, answered

Here's everything you need to know about working with me, before we ever get on a call: what I offer, how projects work, what they cost, and what happens if you don't love the first draft. If your question isn't here, just ask me directly.

Who do you typically work with?

I work with leaders at enterprise companies, across any departments that regularly give presentations. My design services are best suited for external, high-stakes presentations (like investor meetings, sales presentations, etc), while my Story By Design presentation training works best for teams who prepare internal presentations all the time, including future leaders as part of professional development. If you have an upcoming presentation that has to land, or you lead a team that builds decks all the time, I'd love to chat about whether a partnership is a good fit.

What exactly do you offer?

I have two offers: Custom presentation design, where I create a polished deck (content and design) that's built to win the room. I also offer custom templates to set your team up for success. And presentation training for teams, where I teach your team to build their internal, everyday decks in a more effective way. This training is for anyone who presents on a regular basis and can be included in leadership development curriculums. I also offer in-depth trainings for L&D teams so they can train your internal team.

Are you an agency?

I operate as an independent professional designer and trainer. That means the person on the discovery call is the same person building your slides, and there's no handoff to a designer you'll never meet. I bring 20+ years of corporate enterprise experience, and I know exactly how to design every slide to connect with the people you're speaking to: through story-led design.

Is our content confidential?

Absolutely. I don't take it lightly that the decks I build often contain highly sensitive information, so confidentiality is a given. That's why confidential information in my portfolio is anonymized: you're seeing real work with the client's content protected, which is exactly what I'd do with yours. As part of my onboarding, you'll sign off on what you feel comfortable with me sharing, so that's clear from the start. And, of course, I'm happy to sign an NDA before we kick things off.

Do you offer marketing or other design services?

I'm solely focused on PowerPoint design and presentation trainings for teams. If you need additional services, I can point you to my referral partners.

Do you train speakers to present in front of large crowds?

I focus on the visuals behind the speaker, designing presentations that bring your message to life. I work with speaking coaches who specialize in stage delivery and would be happy to refer you to one.

What does "story-driven" mean?

Story-driven means the story comes first. Visual storytelling is the method that pulls your audience from problem to payoff; it's not just how a slide looks. Design makes a slide pretty, but a story makes people remember it, care about it, and act on it. I do both, but the story must be right first. Get that wrong, and no amount of design fixes it.

What if I don't like the design?

We start with 2–3 sample slides to lock the creative direction before I build anything else. If, for any reason, I'm not able to develop a design you're satisfied with during this initial process, I will refer you to one of my colleagues who I think would be a better fit.

Do you use AI to design your decks?

No. Every design I create is original and not AI-assisted. With so much advancement in AI, the human element matters more than ever: the critical thinking, the understanding of your audience, and the awareness of the challenges they face are what turn a deck from a collection of slides into a story that moves people to action. Those are judgment calls that come from experience and a real conversation with you, not from a prompt. When you work with me, you get a deck shaped by your goals, your audience, and your message, designed by a person who is invested in how it lands in the room.
